Working Principle

The Submersible Seawater Pump for Seawater Purification operates based on centrifugal pumping technology. The entire pump unit is designed to work fully submerged in seawater, allowing direct intake from seawater sources such as coastal areas, seawater tanks, and purification pools.

When the motor starts, it drives the impeller to rotate at high speed. The rotating impeller generates centrifugal force, creating a low-pressure area at the suction inlet. Seawater is then drawn into the pump chamber through the suction passage.

As the seawater passes through the rotating impeller, the mechanical energy from the motor is converted into hydraulic energy. The impeller increases the velocity and pressure of the seawater, and the pressurized seawater is discharged through the outlet pipe and delivered to downstream systems, including filtration units, desalination equipment, cooling systems, or marine circulation systems.

The fully submerged design helps reduce suction losses, improves pumping stability, and minimizes the risk of cavitation during operation.
