Variable Speed Drive Electrical Control Cabinet

The Electrical Control Cabinet is a dedicated device that controls the start and stop of the electric submersible pump (ESP) unit, monitors and records its operating status, and automatically performs power-off protection when abnormal conditions occur during operation. Currently, four types of control cabinets are commonly used: power-frequency control cabinets, soft-start control cabinets, low-voltage variable-frequency control cabinets, and medium-voltage variable-frequency control cabinets.

Operating Conditions for Variable Frequency Cabinet

●Altitude shall not exceed 1000 m; derating is required if the altitude exceeds 1000 m.

●Operating ambient temperature: -5 ℃ to +40 ℃, daily average temperature not exceeding +35 ℃, ambient temperature variation not greater than 5 ℃/h. If the ambient temperature exceeds the allowable range, appropriate air conditioning equipment shall be equipped.

●Maximum relative humidity of ambient air: ≤ 90% (at 20 ℃); ≤ 50% at +40 ℃.

●The installation foundation shall be free from severe vibration and shock, with vertical inclination not exceeding 5%.

●The operating environment shall be free of conductive or explosive dust, and free of gases or vapors that corrode metals or damage insulation.

●Continuous voltage fluctuation of the AC input power supply shall not exceed ±10% of the rated value.

●Frequency fluctuation range of the AC power grid: 45 Hz–55 Hz, with frequency variation rate not exceeding ±1% per second.

●For indoor use only with good ventilation; clearances above and around the device shall be ≥ 700 mm.
