AOTE PUMP’s 4 -1/2 API Standard Tubing is manufactured in accordance with API 5CT for deep and ultra-deep oil and gas wells where high pressure, heavy loads and demanding operating conditions require reliable tubing performance. Available in multiple steel grades including J55, N80, L80 and P110 with EUE or NUE threads, it supports production tubing, water injection, gas injection and ESP completion systems. Custom lengths, coatings and third-party inspections are available for global oilfield projects.
4 -1/2 API Standard Tubing is widely used in wells requiring higher flow rates and mechanical strength than conventional
production tubing. Its larger outer diameter improves production efficiency while maintaining reliable resistance to
internal pressure, crushing, and tensile strength.
Manufactured to API 5CT specifications, this tubing is suitable for both onshore and offshore oilfields and is
compatible with standard API fittings, packers, safety valves, and ESP completion equipment. Appropriate steel grades,
wall thicknesses, and thread types can be selected based on well depth, production pressure, and corrosive environment.
Different well environments require different tubing grades.
Grade
Recommended Application
J55
Conventional production wells
K55
Standard oil production
N80
Deep wells with higher pressure
L80
CO₂ and mildly corrosive wells
P110
Ultra-deep high-pressure wells
Rather than choosing the highest grade, selecting tubing according to actual well conditions helps reduce unnecessary
project costs while ensuring operational safety.

FAQ
Which tubing grade should I choose?
The appropriate grade depends on well depth, pressure, temperature and corrosion conditions. N80 and P110 are
commonly selected for deep wells, while L80 is suitable for mildly corrosive environments.
What is the difference between EUE and NUE threads?
EUE threads use an external upset end for improved connection strength, while NUE threads have a non-upset design
with a larger internal diameter. The selection depends on the completion design and connection requirements.
Can tubing be supplied with couplings installed?
Yes. Tubing can be delivered with couplings pre-installed or supplied separately based on project requirements.
Are third-party inspections available?
Yes. SGS, BV, DNV and other independent inspection services can be arranged before shipment upon request.
What documents are provided?
Typical documentation includes:
Mill Test Certificate (MTC)
API 5CT inspection report
Hydrostatic test report
Mechanical property report
Dimensional inspection report
Packing list
Commercial invoice
